CMS 450HP is the SorbiTech ultra high purity carbon molecular sieve. Sub 10 Angstrom pore captures both oxygen (3.46 Angstrom) and carbon dioxide (3.30 Angstrom), supporting 99.99999 percent (7N) nitrogen with downstream deoxo polishing. Manufactured by SorbiTech as 1.0 to 1.6 mm pellets with per lot fines content verification for critical service applications.

Pore Captures Both Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide
CMS 450HP is the SorbiTech ultra high purity carbon molecular sieve produced to ISO 9001:2015. The pore mouth is engineered narrower than 10 Angstrom across the full pellet so the kinetic separation captures both oxygen (3.46 Angstrom kinetic diameter) and carbon dioxide (3.30 Angstrom) under the PSA cycle pressure. The carbon dioxide capture is what separates the 7N grade from standard high purity nitrogen.

Critical Service Train
For 7N service the SorbiTech train stages CMS 450HP in the primary PSA, deoxo catalytic polishing in the trim duty, and a final drier ahead of point of use distribution. Rapid pressure buildup and superior energy efficiency reduce air consumed per cubic metre of nitrogen produced. In 7N service the energy saving over the design life accumulates to a material fraction of total cost of ownership.
Minimal Fines, Extended Durability
Robust pellet structure resists fragmentation through repeated pressure swings. Minimal fines means the bed retains mass through service life, downstream filtration sees clean gas, and the product line stays clean for analytical instruments confirming outlet purity.
