Group Story
The SorbiTech Group story began with Medaad, a chemical manufacturer of adsorbent media. As operators asked for more than supply, PuraSpecs was added for mechanical fabrication, FireBag for EPC delivery, and SorbiTech was created to unify the four entities under one commercial relationship.
How SorbiTech Group Took Shape
SorbiTech Group did not start as a multi entity organisation. It started as a chemical speciality and grew into the integrated group that operates today. Each step closed a specific gap in the operator engagement.
Four Chapters
A Chemical Speciality
Adsorbent media manufacturing as the founding capability. The operator base recognised the chemistry but asked for engineering support next to supply.
The Engineering Reach
Mechanical fabrication and process engineering capability added to design and build the equipment that holds the media in service.
The EPC Step
Project execution capability added in Canada to close the gap between specification and operating plant. Concept through commissioning, one team.
One Identity
The SorbiTech identity was created to wrap the three branches into a single commercial relationship for the operator. One contract, one performance guarantee.
The Vision
SorbiTech Group exists to remove the structural risk that an operator carries when media and equipment are split between separate vendors. By bringing chemistry, engineering, and execution under one identity, the operator contracts once, receives one performance guarantee, and works with one technical contact across the asset life. For operational detail on each entity today, see Our entities.
SorbiTech Group is the unifying identity for an industrial group that grew over several years from chemical media supply into mechanical engineering and then into EPC delivery. The group identity was created once the three branches were each operational at scale. Operator demand drove the expansion. The chemistry was supplied, but operators asked for sizing calculations, integrated equipment, and complete plant delivery. The natural response was to build the supporting capability inside the same accountability boundary rather than refer the operator to a third party. Because the media (Medaad) and the equipment (PuraSpecs) sit inside the same SorbiTech identity, the operator contracts once. The single performance guarantee covers the complete duty from inlet flange to outlet specification, removing the structural risk of a typical multi vendor procurement.
